Event coordination: Elopements in Costa Rica

First, I have to apologize from not blogging. I was in San Diego visiting my wife's family. Sure, I did get to have some fun as well. Laura and I escaped to Vegas (we left Jessi with auntie Sondra) to see Elton John's opening night of the "Red Piano", Jersey Boys and Mystere.

This was my second wedding at Harmony Hotel, since I brought Laura along, we stayed the night. Beautiful place. Harmony Hotel is one of Costa Rica's sustainable ecotourism hotels. Just a few days before I attended a seminar on sustainable ecotourism to benefit the company I started in Kenya. The objective of our company Birding Safaris Africa is to be as "green" as possible in operating tours in East Africa.

Mr Burdick, Jill's father has to be one of the nicest human beings you'll ever meet. Jill & Ryan are a super laid back couple, we even danced at their wedding.

Jennifer contacted us about a year ago. She is the happiest, most positive bride I have ever met! She belongs in a destination bride magazine, she just shines! We had a beautiful day along with one of the best sunsets this year. I hope to visit Jenn & Kevin when I come out to Colorado this fall.

Well, it is May and the rains are here. The day started sunny but at around three a storm off of the Tarrazu mountains came into Quepos. The important thing was to keep a good attitude. The ceremony took place in the hotel and then we decided to head to the beach to give a photo session a shot. Timothy, the owner of the hotel gave us poolside unbrellas, towels, etc.- sooo helpful!! Megan & Stephen's most important thing was getting married, this is the right idea to keep in mind when coming to Costa Rica for a wedding. The photos turned out great!
