We found Riotico in Dominical and decided on it because of Tripadvisor. The photos we saw on the website do not do the place justice. We decided to give the place a photographic makeover. Very cool place up on the hillside of Uvita (very cool temperaturewise as well & not buggy at all). Nice hikes, watefalls & swimming holes. Humpback whales are here! Awesome to see them! We wanted to post this photo which depicts what a Costa Rica Destination Wedding is all about. This wedding took place a warm, breezy afternoon at Cala Luna Point in Tamarindo. With no hotel next to it, uncrowded and intimate, it is a perfect location for a destination wedding. The reception took place at Villa Marrakech.

Alyssa is like a model bride! She is gorgeous! We had some rain for this wedding but did not make a difference. We went out under the sprinkle and got some amazing images. Los Suenos Marriott Beach is dark sand (I now brides are always looking out for white sand), the contrast between dark sand and a white wedding gown is quite impressive.

I love that Arenas del mar has two different locations for a wedding. This one took place at the end of Playitas Beach in Manuel Antonio. Although the other location can be more private because of rocky coves on both sides, this one gives a more intimate feeling.
