Sarah and Nate got married at the luxurious but intimate Bahia del Sol. They were surrounded by family, including their four children who participated in the ceremony. Capturing their oldest son walking his mother down the aisle was really sweet, as was the other three kids walking together holding hands for the processional. After fifteen years together, this couple still acts like young kids in love and were incredibly easy to photograph.

It had been a while since I had been to March House in Malpais. It is such a cool location for a wedding. Brent is a way laid back guy, made us feel like part of the group. Megan is a total sweetheart. Very fun group from Newport. Brent is actually "tico", so the dinner was Costa Rican. Weddings Costa Rica had quite the set up, ambient lighting, a tent in case of rain (thanks be to that - we had a sprinkle) full dance floor and lanterns everywhere to light up the entire location.

Tiffany & Paul ceremony took place at Tulemar Beach but the reception was at Los Altos. I can't praise this place enough, it is a perfect destination wedding location. Just as I was telling Tiffany's mother "By now, a Texan wedding would be in the pool" Tiffany and her bridesmaids were getting into the kid's pool. I guess Chicago-ans can party just as hard as well!

We are happy to have more bookings in the Arenal area, it has so much to offer so many beautiful locations and a different setting to the beach destination wedding. Liz, Nayara reservations manager was extremely helpful with arrangements. Arenal Volcano did not uncover itself but the gardens made up for it.

This is the new cool location to get married at in Manuel Antonio, the reception area near the pool is just a-mazing and in case of rain you have Karolas (restaurant area- just had a wedding there a couple of days ago-coming soon in the next blog). Valerie looked stunning! Costa Rica Paradise wedding coordinated the event. Beautiful!

I had heard about Lost Iguana for a long time now but had never made it out there. We were really glad to have a chance to shoot a wedding here. The staff was so nice, I felt like a guest not a vendor. We had a little sprinkle but did not dampen the spirits of over 60 friends and family that made it to this wedding. Krystin & Phil had been to Lost Iguana for a wedding before and fell in love with it. I can see why.

nayara hotel, spa & garden

Although we only had a glimpse of Arenal Volcano, it was a beautiful day. Colleen & Peter chose to get married at Nayara Hotel. Away from the main road, Nayara is a quiet relaxed place. Staff is very friendly and the place is close enough to hear the volcano rumble.
